One things about a Linux distribution is how it can fit into so many
different places and situations.  Linux has a frame buffer driver that
works with most graphics cards and can be used to actually handle
graphical applications without using the X Window System.

I'll demonstrate several programs that make life from the command line
very livable... and in some cases, very desirable.  I'll demonstrate
web browsing (with graphics), video and music playing, CD ripping, email,
instant messaging and more.
