has Improving's offices. <br><div><br></div><div>Clay Montgomery will give a presentation on "Building Motion Tracking Computer Vision Applications on Open Hardware using Yocto Linux and OpenCV".<br></div><div><br></div><div>Abstract:<br><br> "ARM SoCs today have fantastic capabilities for computer vision applications with features like MIPI, NEON, GPU, IPU, and VPU accelerators. Clay D. Montgomery, a local freelance embedded Linux developer, will demonstrate and summarize the results of his exploratory work building motion detection and tracking applications using OpenCV, OpenGL ES and other open-source components on the NXP i.MX6 series SoCs. An order-of-magnitude better performance is achieved which enables vision applications at entirely new low-power and cost points."<br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>There is usually pizza available. Also, the
local Java users group, JavaMUG, meets there the same time, in a
different room.</div><div><br></div>The building doors lock at 6 PM. There is a
