[NTLUG:Discuss] Star Office is COOL! (Hillcrest Install)

Sometimes I am lucky and stumble on something that works....  I didn't mean
too, but...

I want to support Star Office, they are doing so neat things for Education.
 

We ordered the campus license, after playing around with it and seeing what
the cost was -- $295.00 all versions (Windows, MAC, etc.) and the teachers
get to take it home and put it on their machines.

I'm working on an install for them at home.

Seems I can put this on the server Brian K. built for me, and install Star
Office on the server.  Then each user (or me), can install from the
network, using only 2-3 megabytes.  This should save us on those little 400
meg hard drives.  Of course, we don't know how fast....

Also the manual for basic "stuff", word processing, email, you name is
about 40 pages.

I really like to let people know when people are doing right by us.
