Using the pots jacks on a router is fine for 1 room. I have phones in
3 rooms and (will have) ISDN service for all. So do I buy 3 routers?
The room where the computer is I'll use the POTS and 1 of my current
phones but the other 2 rooms won't be able to use POTS out of the wall
because it won't be there. Converting the whole house to ISDN is more
cost effective than adding another line to the house since I've already
got 1 4-wire throughout. Monthly ~$100 both POTS & ISDN vs $65 ISDN
only.
