I'm running two FIC PA2011's with the VIA 590VP chipsets...no hardware
problems I know of...

Anything specific about your setup, or just suspicions?

Are you using XF86Setup to configure your X system?  I've found that if
an XF86Setup configuration fails, sometimes if you try to reuse the
/etc/XF86Config file nothing seems to work right.  Just rename it to
something else and try running the setup app again...or answer "no" to
the question about using an existing configuration file.
