TAAS = Texas Assessment of Academic Skills.  This is THE test that evaluates schools, principals, teachers and students.  They have to pass this to graduate.  While some of our population is doing well on this, less than half of our free and reduced lunch aren't.  (That's the ones on free lunch program).  This is true of all schools around the state.  Right now, minimum standard for that group is about 40% and they are upping that to 50%.   Of course, we want to see 100%

Probably.  Some of the older machines might not, but we can ignore those.
