We are installing a new Redhat 6.0 build and it doesn't auto-detect. Also I
would like to convert an existing Redhat 6.0 system to the new card and
would appreciate some newbie pointers on getting both systems installed.

I've used the 3com 905's in a variety of Linux's, including Redhat 4.2-5.2
and
SuSE 6.1, not a problem. They pretty much autodetect, and never seem to
have problems. Only problem is the cost, but I'm a cheap person ;)
