Alex,
I have several machines running that configuration and I use PHP3 to access
the MySQL databases that I have. What kind of error message is Apache giving
on startup?
If I remember right, I also had to have the following two lines in srm.conf
to make apache properly handle .php3 files, but it doesn't sound like it's
related to your problem.
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php3-source .phps
Craig

Anyone know how to get apache talking to MySQL database?
Server has RH6, MySQL 3.22.27, mod_php3-3.09-1, apache 1.3.6 all loaded
from standard RPMS.
httpd.conf has mod_php3.c uncommented, but apache conplains on startup.
