[NTLUG:Discuss] Comparison of CVS and SrcSafe

We use Source (un)Safe and it sucks hard. We are looking for a replacement,
but the problem is all those programmers who were trained in point and click
programming and confuse the superficial ease of (ab)use with quality. It is
a triumph of glitz over grit. I hope we can get past the fear of command
line programming and move to CVS, but the resistance to this is strong.

Good luck,

Peter Koren

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Comparison of CVS and SrcSafe

Does anybody know of a website comparing the pros and cons of CVS and
SrcSafe? I'm interested in doing such a study, but didn't want to
reinvent the wheel if someone's already done something.

After having used both, I feel CVS is superior to SrcSafe in many
areas. I want to quantify them so others who aren't so enlightened may
see the light.
