[NTLUG:Discuss] Keyboard and Mouse Switching --- Can I do it??????

First of all I doubt this is probably an active switch. You'll have to
make sure yuo switch to one machine, turn it on, then switch to the other
and turn it on. This allow the computers to know what's where etc.
Secondly, if that's not the problem, I know a least on one of my computers
that sometimes I have a problem with the mouse disappearing under X when I
unplug the keyboard or the mouse. I usually have switch to a normal VT and
back again to recover it. If the keyboard isn't working this obviously
won't be possible.

Just a few ideas.
