I do know that if you are wanting to register your IP with internic you will
have to use DSL, cable does not offer this as an option. Up load on cable is
capped to 128 I believe.

Is there a comparison available to compare DSL to Cable modems? I am
trying to compare the price of service and equipment to the speed and
quality of service provided.
