This is such a pet peeve of mine.

The millennium is not over in a few weeks.  People started counting the years
from 1, so 2000 years don't officially pass until we hit 2001.  By that same
logic, its not the end of the century, or even the decade.  It's only the
end of 1999.

Thus, unless all the NTLUG meetings of 2000 are cancelled, we have 12 more
before the end of the millinneum.
