discuss at ntlug.org has spam filters; I'm not sure how this one got past
them. These guys are *notorious* spammers however. I've reported them
many times and they keep coming back.
The tension between making this list usable and closing it to all spam
is not an easy one to resolve. Obviously making this list closed to
all but its subscribers shuts out much spam, but it also shuts out
people from posting from non-subscribed addresses. I'm not entirely
sure which one is the worse problem.
Since the message in question was apparently sent on November 5th, I'm
not terribly inclined to do anything about it *now*.
