Of course it makes more sense. That's why it wasn't done! :<
Since the person who is refusing to do the sane thing, by pointing to
the document, as you say, but instead wants to mislead outsiders and
make Donnie Barnes look bad is one of the people who is now a "leader"
of the LDP, and one of the people who's driving others away, and is
the "webmaster" of the LDP site, you can now see how dysfunctional the
LDP leadership is.
Confusing you and making you think Donnie Barnes was being a jerk is
apparently this guys goal, so he succeeded in what he wanted, but only
by causing problems, giving wrong impressions and generally making
a mess of things.
This does actually point out something of a weakness in some Open
Source projects; namely, how in hell you wrest control from toxic
leadership. It happens *very* rarely, but when it does, it can be
ugly.
