Greg,
I'm not sure about any office-to-office drawbacks you may find, but your
Linux box can be set up as a router and firewall, linking through Samba to
the Win box and then through ISDN (or DSL, cable, etc.) to either your
office or the Internet.

The SuSE distribution admin tools make much of that pretty academic, at
least as far as the firewall/router piece is concerned. Samba seems to give
people some hoops to jump through (I haven't yet had the pleasure of
installing it).

If you don't want to shell out the $$ for the Pipeline 50, that could be an
expedient solution.

---How about a cable modem or DSL service?  I cuurently use a cable
modem with linux and windows.  I have had no problems with linux and the
cable modem.  It's much faster and cheaper here than using ISDN service.
