The original SuSE 6.3 shipment had a problem with YaST2...perhaps the
second one was from a later shipment with the problem having been
fixed??

BTW: The problem with YaST2 is that if you booted into YaST2 to install
linux and choose to install lilo into the /boot partition, it crashes.
(MBR and floppy lilo install work)
