Other than it's 300 dpi, it's really a pretty good printer. Several
companies I consulted with over the years have had them, and had little
trouble.
TI's equipment has always seemed pretty good...they just never quite knew
how to market it.
PostScript printing eliminates the need for GhostScript for applications
which output PostScript. Therefore, your printing should be somewhat easier.
As for comparing with an HP4L...the TI also has an HP emulation, as I
recall. To me, if both printers were in equal shape, I'd lean toward the
TI...but first, I'd look into supplies cost and availability.
There have been quite a few of these printers sold at the First Saturday
sales over the past six months or so. I didn't pay particular attention, but
it seems to me they were somewhere around $200 or so. Much more and I'd
pass. After all, you can get a 600 dpi personal Lexmark laser for around
$400...and it does PostScript, too.

Does anyone have any experiences to share regarding this printer?
Is it trouble prone .....upkeep expensive ....etc?
in general.....
It is a postscript printer, is that of great advantage over a pcl HP4L?
