I've got a 4 port OmniCube. I've found that when I use the
<ScrlLock><ScrlLock>[Selection] method of switching between consoles,
the Selection number shows up in any xterms or emacs sessions that
have the focus when you switch to a Linux box. I've also notice that
there seems to be a pretty heavy overhead associated with the keyboard
switch, your repeat rate is reduced significantly when using it. I
have also discovered that it doesn't work very well with Logitech 4
button wheel mice. But it does serve a purpose, and has lasted a LOT
longer than those cheap rotary switches.
