Actually, I'm an idiot. This is a libc problem. The page for this project
is at: http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/libc.html

They are using GNATs which just seems to be a horrible (yet very GNU
looking) bug tracking system. So I don't know how much help that'll
be.

You might need to upgrade your C libraries, I know the new one's just wrap
around at 248 or 495 days.

I can't really find any specific information, sorry. You might try joining
the glibc mailing list, or looking for a FAQ (because I'm sure this is a
FAQ).
