I doubt that's the case, I have a 13GB drive, and the swap starts
somewhere around cyl 1500.  Sounds like it may be a hardware problem.  I
had Slackware 7.0 installed on this drive on a different computer, with
the same partitioning scheme, and I had no problems whatsoever.
