There's a guy recently on comp.lang.python working on a tool to fetch
mail from an Exchange server and write it to a local Unix mbox,
iirc. He's doing it in Python. You might want to search Deja.com and
see if he needs help or is ready to share his code.
Also, iirc, Rick Cook was faced with this issue some time ago, so he
may have found an answer as well.
