Question: "How big a hole does a cracker need?"
Answer:   "Just big enough".

I would agree with the statement that "Linux ... can provide a good platform 
for a hacker". That's one of the reasons I prefer to use Linux ;-)

Unfortunately, this is just one more example of the misuse of the H-word by
the /Media/. I'm not expecting this to change, any more than people saying
"irregardless" or "thus far".

If one puts an insecure system with superior networking and programming
cababilities on a high-speed, permanent, public access IP connection
one pretty much gets what one deserves. And I don't think the DMN article
was being unfair to Linux. They cited examples of Windows' vulnerability too.
