I did that. I removed .X* from all user directories. No change.
Any thing else you can think of. I've reinstalled all the X packages
from the RH 6.1 CD. The only thing I have left is the Microsoft solution
-- format and reinstall the OS. I'll wait an hour or so to see if there
are any other suggestions.
