you could go to the command line and type killall pppd. I am in the
process of creating linux dialup instructions. I have a pretty good start.
If anyone would like to see them, just go to
http://www.hex.net/help/dialup.linux.shtml. In particular, I haven't
finished creating instructions for all the distributions, but the
distribution independent versions should work for everyone. And if anyone
would like to contribute instructions for your favorite ditro with some
snapshots of the tool you are using, I'll post them on our website so
everyone can benefit.
