Yes and yes.  Remember, though, you won't see anything about C: or D:
drives (that's a DOS thing).  You'll see something about drive
partitions (/dev/hda1, /dev/hdb1, etc.)  As I recall, the RH
documentation goes into quite a bit of detail about this.

Yes.  If the second drive is used to install Linux, then all
Linux-related files will appear on the second drive.  You won't see
anything new on the first drive, because the boot loader is written to
parts of the drive you normally can't see in a file listing.
