It doesn't seem to me like there has been that much non-help stuff on
this Discuss list (leaving aside this recent discussion on the Guidelines
etc.).  I do have concern about keeping the unity of the group.  The one
other, similar experience I see -- the Silicon Valley LUG -- has a single
list for both purposes -- "help" and "general";  seems like it works OK
there.  My vote would be in favor of keeping the one list.  But, if
people are dissatisfied with (whatever) decision after 1, 2, 3 months or
whenever, then try it the other way.  And, yes, whichever way it goes for
now, let's wrap up this thread soon.
