I was faced with the same dilemma a few weeks ago and I decided to go
with the K6-3 400 over the K6-2 500.  I think the difference b/w 256k of
L2 cache running at 400MHz and [512k,1024k,2048k] of L2 cache running
at 100MHz makes a big difference, IMHO.

Now trying to find a Super 7 board thats stable with a Riva TNT is another
matter.

As for an Athlon, I'd stay away from FIC boards.  They tend to be of low
quality and not very stable.  A much better bet would be the Asus K7V or
Abit's upcoming KA7.
