XNest just lets you run another session of X inside an existing one, in
a window, so it is nested inside the first. I am not sure how this
would help. You can start up as many sessions of X as you want as long
as you assign them to different session IDs (the display number, the
number after the : in the DISPLAY env, like 'localhost:0'). You could
have multiple X sessions running assigned to different F' keys (like one
on F7 and another one on F8). anyway... this doesn't help with the
original question, but just trying to clarify... I am anal.
