	Hello all --

I'm happy to have gotten an article published on Linux, and using Linux
on the desktop. I tried to make it an overall view of what Linux is,
what kinds of GUI desktop software is available, and a few tips for
installing, links to LUG's, Net resources and the like. The title is:
"Linux -- It's not Microsoft -- New Systems and Software Offer Choices
for Lawyers Seeking Reliable, Low-Cost Computing". It's been published
in the Texas Lawyer, a weekly paper which is read by very many lawyers in
this State. If you have any comments on it, I'll welcome them! If
you're interested, the article is at:
http://www5.law.com/tx/sub/news/archive/042400/042400v.htm
and, in case you're interested, the front page of the paper is at:
http://www.texlaw.com/
Linux Today's treatment of it was at:
http://63.236.72.248/stories/20599_flat.html

Thanks, sincerely, to each and every one of you, and all in NTLUG. You
all have helped me, and lots of other people, this last year in learning
and getting started with Linux; This article is a very modest way of my
trying to pay back, to the extent that I can. Again, thanks! Best to
you all.
