In reply to the original post of organizing a protest outside a movie
theatre, I'd like to offer my two cents.

I've found that if you really want to spread word about the issue, a
very good way of doing so is to read up on the subject and make sure you
understand what is really going on. Then, head on over to
http://copyleft.net and buy the "Anti-DVD CCA" shirt. People WILL ask
you what it's about. All they see at first is DVD inside that big red
circle with a line through it. "You don't like DVDs?? Why?" That
opens up for you to explain what it means. I think all of my friends
have asked me what it means, and I've had several people that I don't
know at all approach me about the shirt. Some are interested in the
"weird writing" on the back. (DeCSS source code)

One final thing: The "Ani-DVD CCA" shirt is probably a better
conversation starter than the "Got DeCSS?" shirt because everyone knows
what DVDs are and about 0.05% of the population knows what DeCSS is.

You'll be surprised how many responses you'll get to that shirt.
