Are you just nodding in blind, blissful agreement, or is there some
original thought involved?
Both involve manipulating streams of bytes with different sets of
algorithms.
Both permit the transformation of byte data from one (unviewable) format
to another (viewable) format.
Let's see...one could actually pipe a DeCSS-derived data stream into a
DivX compressor, thereby creating files which are truly "manageable."
Which do you think is now the larger threat to the MPAA: DeCSS or DivX?
