I realize that I *can* use hwclock to set the CMOS clock
to system time, but I'd be suprised if the author(s) of
xntpd removed the automagic setting of the CMOS clock from xntpd.
My *guess* is that change(s) between the 2.0.30 /2.0.36 kernel
and/or 3.4 / 3.5 xntpd have somehow "disabled" this feature.
