It's pretty embarrassing for RedHat, imho, that they haven't fixed this error
from 6.1 days. You need to go to their site and look at the errata for 6.2 and
download the fixed boot.img and updates.img.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Upgrade/Install from RH 6.0 to 6.2
I have RH 6.0 on my system now. I went to upgrade to 6.2. I copied the RPMS &
base directories from ftp.redhat.com to a folder on my machine called RedHat.
After these steps were taking I used a new boot.img file to start the install. I
have choose to upgrade or custom install in both case
?s I get an error. The
message is displayed after the system starts to read the packages. At the end of
the error there are two options ok or debug. Any advice would greatly be
welcome. Thanks in advance Joey Berry.
Here is the error as reads.
