[NTLUG:Discuss] setting up a dialin server

Ok,
Here is my latest endevor...

I am trying to set up a linux box to act as a dialup server. It has a 33.6 
modem hooked to it that works. I can dial in with a term emulator and log 
in that way but I want to be able to dial in with windows/linux/whatever 
and start a ppp session.

Can someone direct me to a good howto? I found one and followed it 
perfectly, but it doesn't work..
