[NTLUG:Discuss] GNOME and GNUCash install difficulties

I guess I do need to give a little more information:

I am not using RedHat, but SuSE 6.1. Moreover (or consequently) I am not
using RPM, rather I am compiling all the sources (./configure, make, make
install). The error message regarding libpixbufloader-png.so is generated
by, for example, xchat and gnumeric.
