With Chris's and Kevin's comments, I certainly and heartily agree. In
fact, this issue I find quite irritating. After all, isn't one of the
points about Open Source/Free Software to allow one to be _less_
dependent on a commercial software distributor?

Chris, I don't have the file you mention ("doc/SuSE-6.3"). But maybe
that's because I didn't download the users-guide. Which I'm doing
right now. :%

Just to recall for the sake of clarity, I brought up "libpixbufloader"
because that's what an error message reported. It's quite possible,
given my lack of Linux-godhood, that I am completely wrong in my
assumption that the message means that I need a library so
entitled. Am I?
