Well, not as good as I like. The education level for technology is very
low, and unfortuantely they have swallowed the Mac/Microsoft bate, hook,
line and sinker.
Next year will be better. For one, I am no longer teaching an extra class.
For two, I am no longer teaching webmastering and my talents are being put
to correct use, I will be teaching only programming, C++ and Visual Basic.
By the way, for once Microsoft did something right. I actually like Visual
Basic for the Computer Science I class. They get instant results, they are
able to do some pretty sophisicated stuff and they enjoy it. They did give
it to us, though of course, with the WIndows 95 operating system as a catch
-- we had to pay for that.
And the reason it's taken awhile for an answer, is that things are rough
around here at the house, I lost a 12 year old companion. Yeah, she was a
dog, but she'd been with me since she was 6 weeks old. And I was more than
a little attached to her.
