I agree that this is a VERY good source for whell mouse config
but
Mandrake comes preconfigured for a wheel mouse with imwheel
(if you answer all the questions right;))
otherwise it is very simple to fix
as I have detailed in my other post

the directions from this link could confuse MDK sisnce it is already
setup for imwheel
