Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Cable Modems

I need to know what docs to read. Any advice?

I am having trouble setting up my cable modem under Linux. I am using
cox-internet for a provider.
My NIC is working, it is a 3com EtherLink III isa 3c509. set up as eth0
I am running SuSE LiNUX 6.2 w/ kernel 2.2.10
I do not have a permanent IP Address, nor a list of possible addresses

Please point me in the right direction.
Glendon

Thanks in advance.
