http://www.linuxsecurity.com sends out a weekly newsletter telling about
new exploits and how to patch them up.  i've recieved about 3 issues so
far and it has lots of good security information.  and their site is
loaded with good info also, it's not just limited to their weekly
newsletter.

if you run linux, you have to become a security expert.  especially if
you're connected to the 'net.  if you're not an expert already, i'd bet
a quarter of the ntlug subscribers are already running compromised boxes
and you don't even know it (yet).  double that if you've got a cable/dsl
connection.  and god help you if you're running a distro with an
out-of-the-box install configuration.

hey, all it took to convince me was to be cracked one time.  it's a
*horrible* feeling - try to avoid it.
