[NTLUG:Discuss] Office forms

Off topic, but...
If you thought that KDE was slow....
On my computer KDE2 is a lot slower than KDE. It seems to do equivalent
tasks in about double
the time as KDE. For example, opening a window to display my home directory
takes 3 seconds
under KDE and 7 seconds under KDE2.
Granted that I am looking at a beta release of KDE2, but I don't think that
there is much time
left for optimazation before the final release.

I'm sorry I didnt mention that this is a p-200 computer. Like I said
Star Office runs slow, when I tried KDE, it was slow also, but might be
better now, but I have gotten into Gnome. I am downloading WordPerfect now
to try it. I knew there are several posibilities that may do what I need,
just didnt want to D/L all of them to find the "Right one" :)
Thanks for all the input.
