I thought Chris Browne gave you excellent advice, both yesterday and
today. Following is a brief comment as to something you said yesterday;
sorry to be delayed writing it. Following is probably not responsive to
your current problem, but if it's helpful in any way, to you or anyone
else, I'll be happy.
You commented yesterday about lack of a common office document file
format. For example: going from StarOfc to WordPerfect to MS Word, etc.
In my experience, the only commonality seems like it exists, sadly, thru
M$ Word and rtf rich text file formats. In other words, exporting/
importing from/ to Star Ofc., WordPerfect, etc., thru translating into,
and out of, M$ document formats. Then, after doing so, of course you
have to "clean up" the formatting. It stinks, but that's the only way I
know how to do it. HTH.
