Re: [NTLUG:Discuss] Linux educational stuff:

Do any of you have children or grandchildren who are learning the
arithmetic tables, and having some trouble? Do you remember using
flashcards when you were young?

I have a program named "flashcard" which I'll offer free to anyone who
asks. Wrote it for my grandchildren, and they all took to it.

It does adding, subtraction, multiplication, & division up through the
12's. It drills in order, backwards & random. You'll read in the
built-in documentation that the program keeps track of all the
student's errors in any given run so he can review them later on, with
intensity, just like he would do by setting aside any and all
flashcards that had given trouble.

Send your request to my personal URL. I'll email it to you. DO NOT
reply to this "discuss", and jam it up!

Thanks, and you're welcome.
