I'd go to Computer Liquidators, in the shopping center on Arapaho Rd. just
west of 75. It's in the strip behind the old Super Shops automotive. Sorry
I don't have an address or better directions.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] The Computer Graveyard?

Where would one go to find a somewhat reliable "discarded" PC, one that
has been thrown off because it couldn't keep up in the technological
"fast lane", but is plenty good to become a headless backup device? Any
suggestions?

It's high time I started doing regular backups; maybe an older box would
be perfect; something along the lines of a 486, 25Mhz or so...

I'm lazy and didn't feel like picking up a Computer Currents magazine
(in fact, I think they've changed their name from that nowadays) and
instead thought I'd summon the collective wisdom of the NTLUG list to
point me in the direction of someplace in this metromess where I could
score some older hardware at discount prices.

TIA,

-- lee
