If you are running Red Hat linux, then change /etc/sendmail.cw to have
your host name that is known over the internet in it. at that point it
can receive mail to that hostname. ie: ctelcom.net
You must get a domain name from one of the internet host name services
(http://www.internic.net, advertisements for hosting can be found at
http://www.netscape.com). Once you have a domain name, someone has to set
up a DNS server to resolve your host name to an IP address.
You must get an IP address from an ISP. This ip address needs to be
fixed. I think you can get a dynamic dns service from dyndns.org (or
something like that). The problem is that if your PPP connection drops,
then someone else will be getting your mail delivered to their box for a
while, if they log in and pick up the ip address you had when you lost
your connection.
