there are bad questions though

Here is another quote for you
"Give a man a fish, he eats for a day.
Teach him to fish and he will eat for life"

readmes are always in the same place
windows or linux

when you extract an archive you should know where you put it
that is always where the readmes are in ANY OS I have used

files named README and INSTALL are pretty obvious sources of install
info

granted when someone has been using windows for a while...they do tend
to lose touch with documentation and start to think help files are the
same thing, they are not

Yes, there are no stupid questions
but there are tired and old ones that have long since been answered in
docs which were written by someone who spent their weekend doing it

the docs are there to minimize repetitive traffic on list like this one

to setup and use any app you will need to read documentation
and throwing names at me will not change that fact

you should always read the README if it had been read in the first
place this entire exchange would not have occured

cheers
