[NTLUG:Discuss] A good Drawing Tool..

Hi,

 I use a good drawing tool (tgif) for Linux; but the problem I am having
with it is resolution, low ! I am looking for a good tool that allows
basic simple geometric shapes and text. I need to output EPS files to
include in Latex. I am considering Corel Draw, but before I invest in it,
I was hoping to hear an evaluation of it. Offcourse, I am open for better
suggestions.
