On the Windows client, does it use PPTP or a custom client? If the
Shiva can be configured to use PPTP there is a PPTP package for Unix
clients (I have used it as a server, but not a client) but can't
remember the name. If it is a custom app, good luck. I am looking into
the same thing for my PIX VPN.

is one project, but not the one I played with
PoPToP is the one I played with

do a search on Yahoo! (which will take you to google, but hey I plug)
for +PPTP +Linux
for more info... or use this link
http://google.yahoo.com/bin/query?p=%2bPPTP+%2bLinux&hc=0&hs=0
you might also look at

but I haven't look too deeply at that one yet.
