The good news is that compiling Tcl/Tk 8.3.2 is a snap.
It installs in /usr/local/... so it won't mess with your
standard distribution's copy. It installs as wish8.3
so it won't collide. Compile Tcl... then compile
Tk.

I've run browseX with 8.3 and 8.4. Seems to work very
well... however, he tends to update the beta file
often... and it won't show that on the site, so if you
were disappointed by some things not working quite right,
try downloading again... I know I was pleasantly surprised
by some of the updates he had already made.
