I made the 21 hr drive without incident.

My computer is another story.........
I can no longer run X as me (only as root).
I am told that "perhaps" I "do not have console ownership".
Also, the line-editing no longer behave in the xterms as they used to,
specifically the BkSp and Del.


I hope it is something ez, all I did in TX was telinit 0 after X
shutown.
